- 4 whole boneless chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 3 whole minced garlic cloves
- ½ cup plain low-fat yogurt
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger or ¾ teaspoon ground ginger

- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
Instructions
Combine the sugar, garlic, yogurt, ginger, canola oil, cumin, lemon juice, salt, and chili powder and add this mixture to a Ziploc bag.
Add the chicken, seal, and turn to coat the chicken in the marinade.
Refrigerate for 8 to 12 hours.
Take the chicken out of the marinade and throw away the marinade.
Let the excess marinade drip off the chicken.
Grill over an indirect medium heat until no pinkness remains in the chicken.
