Using yogurt in a marinade means your chicken will become extra tender, because yogurt helps to tenderize the meat. That is why it is also used in some steak marinades, so it will break down the tough connective fibers and introduce a whole new tenderness to the meat you are using. In this picture, the chicken is cut into slices and garnished with tomatoes, basil and some lime wedges. The yogurt helps to make the chicken juicy but it does not add an overpowering yogurt flavor so don’t worry about that; just go ahead and prepare this fantastic recipe.
